AI Software Engineer / AI Engineer

Location: Irving, TX (5205 North O’Connor Blvd., West Tower) / Dallas, TX / Atlanta

Duration: Long Term, Open Contract (W2 Position)

Description:

We are seeking a hands-on AI Native Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI-driven systems within enterprise environments. This is a 100% engineering role focused on building scalable, cloud-native AI solutions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• AI Agent Engineering: Build retrieval (RAG), orchestration workflows, tool/function invocation, policy-based routing, and evaluation frameworks.
• AI Platform Integration: Work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex, and open-source models; design multi-model architectures.
• Cloud-Native Development: Develop microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless/event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, Helm).
• Application Development: Deploy AI-powered applications integrated with enterprise workflows and APIs.
• Testing & Performance: Define test strategies, measure latency/accuracy/cost, debug and optimize production systems.

🔹 Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong background in cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containers, serverless)
• Proven experience deploying AI/LLM-based systems (agents, RAG, orchestration)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar backend languages
• Hands-on with CI/CD, IaC, monitoring/observability tools
• Experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, etc.)

🔹 Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI)
• Multi-agent/distributed AI system design
• Enterprise-scale system integration
• AI workload optimization (cost & performance)
