BeaconFire is looking for a high-impact Agentic AI Developer who thrives at the intersection of AI systems, backend engineering, and production-scale deployment. If you’re passionate about building intelligent, tool-using agents and Vertex AI-powered RAG systems, this role puts you at the center of cutting-edge AI innovation.

You’ll take end-to-end ownership—from data ingestion to deployment—building scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI applications.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Design and develop high-quality web applications using Python, Flask, Django, and modern frameworks
• Architect and implement RAG pipelines on Google Cloud / Vertex AI (chunking, embeddings, indexing, retrieval, reranking, grounding)
• Build agentic workflows with tool use, planning, guardrails, and structured outputs
• Work with vector databases and graph databases to enable advanced retrieval
• Lead end-to-end system delivery: ingestion → orchestration → evaluation → deployment
• Define and run evaluation frameworks (retrieval metrics, hallucination detection, grounding checks)
• Ensure production readiness: APIs, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization
• Collaborate in code reviews, testing, and architecture discussions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI/ML and Python ecosystems

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in Python (Python 3) development
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle & testing practices
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Hands-on experience building RAG systems (hybrid search, reranking, embeddings, prompt/schema design)
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen)
• Experience with vector search and vector databases in production
• Proficiency with Git/version control systems
• Strong engineering mindset: clean code, reliability, security, and scalability

⭐ Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ year experience with Flask or Django
• Experience building RESTful APIs in Python
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable)
• Knowledge of Vertex AI & GCP services (IAM, Cloud Run, GKE, monitoring)
• Experience with knowledge graphs for RAG (entity linking, graph-based retrieval)
• Familiarity with streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub) and document pipelines
• Experience with evaluation tools (RAGAS, TruLens, or custom frameworks)
• Basic frontend integration (React/Next.js) or internal tooling experience
