We’re a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team looking for a highly motivated Associate to join us in identifying and executing new investment opportunities.

What You’ll Do

As an Associate at Ocean Block Capital, you’ll be on the front lines of deal-making, working closely with the firm’s investment committee to source, analyze, and execute acquisitions. Your role will be dynamic, hands-on, and high-impact.

Key responsibilities include:

Investment Sourcing & Deal Execution

• Identify and evaluate new acquisition and development opportunities nationwide.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, meetings, and industry events.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to assess investment potential.
• Negotiate key business terms aligned with our investment strategy.
• Assist in due diligence and transaction management.

Market Research & Strategy

• Perform macro and micro-level research on targeted asset classes and markets.
• Develop insights on industry trends, tenant creditworthiness, and market dynamics.

Support Firm Leadership

• Work directly with partners on high-priority projects.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal decision-making.
