Accounts Receivable Representative – Remote Full Time

2. About the Opportunity:

The Accounts Receivable Representative role is responsible for managing the billing and collections process for home and community care services, focusing on skilled nursing and assisted living. This position ensures accurate and timely payment collection from insurance carriers and other payers, supporting the financial health of the organization. The role contributes by maintaining effective revenue cycle operations and may involve working with various service lines.

3. Responsibilities:

• Manage billing and collections from insurance carriers, agencies, and other payers.

• Focus on skilled nursing and assisted living billing and follow-up.

• Potentially support billing for self-pay, subacute, and ancillary services.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years recent healthcare experience focused on reimbursement and collections.

• Knowledge of insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

• Preferred: College-level coursework in medical front office or medical billing.

• Preferred: Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) software.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary ranges vary by location, for example:

– AK: Anchorage: $21.16 to $32.37 per hour

– California (Northern, except Humboldt): $24.74 to $37.85 per hour

– Montana (except Great Falls): $17.03 to $26.06 per hour

– Oregon (Portland Service Area): $21.16 to $32.37 per hour

– Washington (Western except Tukwila): $22.05 to $33.74 per hour

• Placement on the wage range is based on relevant experience and other factors.

• Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
