Accountant & Tax Preparer Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant & Tax Preparer to join our financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, preparing accurate tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns with precision and adherence to current tax laws and regulations.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and month-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping using accounting software.
• Forming new businesses and handling licensing requirements.
• Preparing and filing sales tax returns.
• Payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting with a strong background in tax experience and technical accounting practices.
• Familiarity with accounting & tax software Accounting CS & UltraTax
• Knowledge of GAAP standards, financial statement preparation, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation techniques.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
