【The Opportunity】

We are looking for a high-potential, Accountable, and Hands-on Accountant who wants to do more than just “keep the books.” This is a pivotal role designed for a professional with the ambition to grow into a Controller role.

As the core of our U.S. financial operations, you will manage our global accounting engine. You will oversee a dedicated offshore team, master our NetSuite environment, and serve as the “financial guardian” of the company. 【Key Responsibilities】

• Global Team Oversight: Lead and review the work of our offshore team. You are the final line of defense for accuracy in AP and AR entry, ensuring all transactions align with US GAAP.
• Hands-on Execution: While you oversee a team, you are fully capable and willing to handle AP and AR tasks hands-on when complex issues arise or to establish baseline standards.
• NetSuite System Ownership: Act as the NetSuite power user. You will optimize workflows, build custom reports, and drive automation to ensure our ERP is the “single source of truth.”
• Treasury & Internal Controls: Manage U.S. cash operations. You will verify payment batches, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure rigorous internal controls are met before any funds are released.
• Payroll Excellence: Apply a strong understanding of payroll principles to ensure accurate processing, compliance, and reporting.
• Full-Cycle Accounting: Own the month-end close process. You will prepare timely financial statements and provide the management team with actionable insights.
• Process Architecture (SOPs): As we scale, you will build and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure our financial infrastructure is scalable.
• Compliance & Tax: Handle local compliance, including Sales Tax, 1099 reporting, and coordination for year-end audits or tax filings.

【Requirements】

• NetSuite Mastery: Must have significant hands-on experience with NetSuite. You should be comfortable navigating, reporting, and troubleshooting within the system from day one.
• Location: Must be able to work on-site daily in our Livermore, CA office. Face-to-face collaboration is essential for this high-growth phase.
• Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience. Experience in a high-growth startup or a company with offshore operations is a major plus.
