Cindy Yee Kong, author of The Eyes of the Lion, found Grace Animal Rehabilitation Center Inc. under the pressing need of rescuing and re-homing overpopulated stray cats in her community. Her love for domesticated animals began when she was comforted by a rescue kitten in her trying time.

Provide financial oversight for the organization.
- Monitor how closely financial activity matches our actual budget.
- Keep tabs on the cost of programs and services, and determine whether those cost are appropriate.
- Inspect GARC financial statements regularly (preferably monthly).
- Ensure GARC meets all legal and tax obligations.
- Present financial records to the board on a monthly basis.
