Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to prepare Comprehensive Health Plan (CHP) audited financial statements and various supplementary schedules. These financial statements and schedules are submitted to Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). The position applies U.S. Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and numerous accounting standards including Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements to ensure that the Agency’s financial statements and schedules are prepared accurately and timely. In addition, the position will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the Agency in regards to CHPP funding.

Pre-Employment Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required; Two years’ relevant work experience required.
Requires the possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12). Employees may be required to use their transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration.
Must be able to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
