Job Description:
As a switcher with Stone Transport you will be responsible for monitoring the scrap chutes at the GM plant. You must be familiar with running heavy equipment, be proficient in backing up tandem and multi axle trailers and pay close attention to safety and must maintain a clean work area.
Shift will be Monday – Friday, Saturdays are frequent, 200pm until 1000pm.

Job Description:
As a switcher with Stone Transport you will be responsible for monitoring the scrap chutes at the GM plant. You must be familiar with running heavy equipment, be proficient in backing up tandem and multi axle trailers and pay close attention to safety and must maintain a clean work area.
Shift will be Monday – Friday, Saturdays are frequent, 200pm until 1000pm.
Equipment:
- Heavy Duty Tractors/Trailers manual speeds 10 and 18.
- Volvo 380 Excavator
- Multi-axle framed dump trailer, walking floor trailer
The Ideal Yard Switching Candidate must be able to:
- Work assigned schedule
- Work overtime, including weekends, if needed
- Pass a pre-employment backgrounds checks
Experience:
CDL Class A Required
Heavy Equipment Experience required
Must be able to back into tight spaces
Full-Time Year Around Work
Pay Structure:
- Hourly Pay +OT after 40
- Weekly Paychecks
Bonus Opportunities:
