About the Company – National Biologics Distributor is seeking experienced Independent Medical Device Sales Reps (1099) or Medical Device Distributors (1099) who specialize in Orthopedics in all major metropolitan areas. Areas include Houston, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Chicago, Columbus (OH), Atlanta, San Francisco,, Green Bay and/or Milwaukee.
About the Role – Candidates must have established relationships at Hospitals and Surgery Centers. Current call points must include Hospitals, Surgery Centers and/or Orthopedic surgeons. This is an exciting opportunity to earn additional incremental commission with a unique commission program. Preferred candidates must have prior Medical Device/Biologics sales experience & have existing relationships across all decision makers including OR buyers, Material Managers and Purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell orthopedic and other tissue implant products
- Be present in healthcare facility and surgical settings (as needed)
- Educate & inform surgeons and operating staff of specific product features
- Communicate with Distributor on regular basis with progress/needs/feedback/suggestions
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years (continual) medical device or biologics experience required
- Work independently; be a self-starter
- Conduct business with a high degree of accuracy
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to prioritize and plan
- Display a high degree of organization
- Set and maintain call patterns in assigned territory
Pay range and compensation package – 100% commission based with no ceiling plus annual bonus program
