Experience

• Previous experience leading or supervising an accounting team.
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or operational finance environments.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Description

• Oversee daily accounting activities and support the work of accounting team members across operational business units.
• Prepare and review financial records, reconciliations, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with monthly and annual close processes, including reporting tied to operational activity, asset tracking, and project costs.
• Support audits, system enhancements, and special projects related to operational accounting functions.
• Analyze financial information and identify reporting issues, variances, and process improvement opportunities.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to accounting staff and cross-functional teams.

Position Requirements

• Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Background supporting asset-intensive or infrastructure-related industries preferred.
• Exposure to energy, logistics, industrial services, or related operational sectors is required.
• Understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments and field personnel.
