Your Day to Day as a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer:
The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will provide Engineering support across the manufacturing unit function and will act as the principal area resource for equipment operations and continuous improvement.
Position Overview:
Provide shop support for operations in the manufacturing unit and functions as the area expert for equipment and processes.
Interfaces with operators to troubleshoot/resolve equipment and operational problems as they arise, taking into account operator experience and suggested solutions.
Develop and maintain operating procedures and technical documentation for area processes and equipment.
Implements process improvements for safety and efficiency.
Assist Engineering personnel with data analysis and submittal documents for approval of new and modified processes.
Effectively interface between operators, management, and maintenance.
Develop technical specifications for new hardware and software procurements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering
Must possess at least two (2) years of engineering experience.
Must have strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.
Must have a strong quality and safety focused decision-making mindset.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed ‘at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
