Clinical Data Manager I Full Time NEW

Primarily remote but must be available to travel to Boston as needed to support face to face meetings and during user acceptance testing.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Data Manager I (with 3 – 5 years CDM experience) to support multiple clinical studies across two programs within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. Reporting to the Manager of Data Management, this individual will play a key role in ensuring high-quality data delivery while gaining broad exposure to end-to-end clinical trial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data management activities across multiple clinical studies and programs
• Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of study documentation (e.g., Data Management Plans, Data Review Plans)
• Contribute to database build and validation activities, including EDC, eCOA, and IRT systems
• Perform ongoing data review, query management, and data cleaning to ensure data integrity and quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and external vendors
• Participate in protocol reviews and provide data management input
• Attend and contribute to internal and external study meetings, including investigator meetings
• Support audit and inspection readiness activities, including documentation and data review
• Lead data management meetings or specific study activities as needed based on team workload
• Demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple projects and shifting priorities across the Data Management group

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or related field
• 3–5 years of clinical data management experience within pharma, biotech, or CRO
• Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault (required)
• Experience with clinical systems such as EDC, eCOA, and IRT
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, data flow, and GCP guidelines
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and lead discussions when needed
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative mindset
