Position Summary

The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in daily warehouse operations, supporting all aspects of order fulfillment, inventory management, and general logistics. This role requires someone who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and can move seamlessly between tasks as priorities shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders with speed and accuracy.
• Manage and move inventory with precision and accountability.
• Assist with receiving and putaway processes.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy through WMS software.
• Pre-kit and prepare high-volume SKUs to improve operational flow.
• Support the Operations Lead with:
• Receiving and storage organization
• Freight quote requests and B2B shipments
• Equipment and supplies maintenance
• Continuous improvement projects
• Maintain clear communication across the team regarding any operational issues or bottlenecks.
• Adapt to fast-paced days while understanding some tasks will be routine and repetitive.

Requirements

• WMS experience required
• Proficient in inventory control procedures including, cycle counts, lot tracking, FIFO principles, inventory transfers and adjustments, barcode scanning and QA verification.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Operational flexibility — able to shift between functions as needed.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions independently.
• Must be comfortable in a growing environment where processes evolve quickly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Adhere to all Remix Logistics safety standards.
