Site and Utility Construction Foreman Full Time NEW

The Site and Utility Construction Foreman plans, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day activities at the assigned job site. S/he is responsible for supervising all laborers and sub-contractors on-site and ensure that the cost, quality, and schedule goals for the job are accomplished through effective use of employees, materials, sub-contractors, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the Site Supervisor, the Foreman will assist with work plans, preparing work schedules and employee assignments for each job
• Maintains a safe working environment at all times for crew members and adheres to OSHA safety standards
• Anticipates problems and proactively comes up with solutions
• Ensures that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
• Maintains a daily report record of daily tasks on each project
• Work with Supervisor and Project Manager to schedule equipmnet and subcontracors for each job
• Carry out daily equipment maintenance at the job site
• Conduct weekly safety meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site & utility work and 1+ years’ as a Foreman
• Ability to understand construction documents and plans
• Excellent leadership abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Be able to communicate effectively with crews, management and clients
• Be able to adapt quickly to changes and problem solve
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• A valid driver’s license
• DOT Medical Card
• MA Hoisting License
• OSHA 10

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $37.00 per hour
