Social Media Specialist Full Time

We’re seeking a highly detailed Social Media Specialist to support our day-to-day social media efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about creating polished, accurate, and engaging content. You’ll play a key role in maintaining brand consistency, ensuring quality control, and helping execute social media campaigns across platforms.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Help organize and manage digital assets (images, videos, captions)
• Support the management of content calendars to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery of content across all channels.
• Review and proofread posts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines
• Monitor platforms and engage with followers to maintain a consistent and active social media presence.
• Stay informed about current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
• Track basic performance metrics and compile reports with attention to detail

Qualifications/Skills

• Background in marketing and communications
• Solid understanding of major social media platforms
• Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills
• Clear written communication and ability to follow brand voice guidelines
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt quickly
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Work Environment

• This is an on-site position based in Baltic, South Dakota
