Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.

Job Summary:
Non CDL Delivery Drivers are responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory. The work schedule is 4, 10 hour days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Complete required vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance issues
• Drive assigned routes and deliver product in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Load, transport, and unload product using proper equipment and handling techniques
• Deliver and unload product at customer locations, including navigating stairs, tight spaces, and varying environments
• Verify order accuracy, obtain signatures, and complete required delivery documentation
• Collect payments and secure invoices, cash, and checks as required
• Stock, rotate product, and assist with merchandising at customer locations
• Pick up and return empty kegs and damaged product as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, and supervisors
• Adhere to all safety standards, alcohol delivery laws, and company policies
• Perform all duties in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner in accordance with productivity standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
