Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Tanker Driver to join our transportation team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and securing cargo.
• Ensuring proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials.
• Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and tanker trucks.
• Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and safety protocols for transporting freight.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and efficiently.
• Skilled in load & unload procedures, including the use of forklifts when applicable.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
