Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable, hardworking Field Apprentices to join our firestop division. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to learn a skilled trade and build a career in the construction and life safety industry. Apprentices will work closely with experienced field professionals to develop hands-on skills in firestop installation while maintaining a strong focus on jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced technicians with firestop installation and related tasks
• Learn proper application techniques for various firestop systems and materials
• Act as a safety spotter to help identify and prevent hazards on the jobsite
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines—safety is our top priority
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Handle and transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take direction, and improve daily

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn a specialized trade
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and punctuality (early start required)
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous construction or labor experience
• Basic familiarity with tools and jobsite practices
