Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will coordinate the work of the electrical design team on large institutional and industrial projects from the schematic design development phase to the contract document phase. You will ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews with governing agencies. This role involves coordinating workloads to meet deadlines, conducting work sessions at project sites, reviewing electrical documents for conflicts, and writing/editing electrical specifications.
Responsibilities
Coordinate workload to ensure timely completion of project documents.
Conduct work sessions at project sites alongside the Project Manager and other disciplines.
Review electrical documents to identify conflicts with other disciplines.
Write and edit electrical specifications, and select equipment, systems, and devices.
Coordinate with affected disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, incorporating agreed-upon changes.
Provide construction contract administration as needed.
Conduct QA/QC on work done by other Electrical Engineers, Coordinators, or Technicians.
Mentor and oversee less-experienced staff on various projects.
Participate in cradle-to-grave project management, focusing on processing submittals and RFIs, and reducing delay times in construction projects.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
Previous experience in electrical design of buildings, including lighting, power, and systems.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Revit, SKM, and AGI software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PE certification preferred.
Experience in commercial construction and electrical engineering.
Familiarity with electrical design within AutoCAD.
Work Environment
This position involves re-commissioning buildings and working directly with government clients. You will spend approximately 70% of your time in the office and 30% in meetings. The role includes visibility on major projects, providing a comprehensive project management experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midwest City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 – $130000.00/hr.
