About Surface Masters

Surface Masters is a fast-growing asphalt and paving company looking for an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator to run our LeeBoy 8815 (or similar) on residential, commercial, and municipal projects. We’re looking for someone who knows how to produce clean, consistent mats and takes pride in quality work.

Responsibilities:

· Operate asphalt paver (LeeBoy 8815 or similar) on job sites

· Control depth, grade, and material flow to ensure a smooth, uniform finish

· Work closely with screed operator and crew to maintain production efficiency

· Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

· Assist with job site setup, breakdown, and coordination

Requirements:

· Proven experience operating an asphalt paver (LeeBoy, Weiler, or similar)

· Strong understanding of paving techniques, mat consistency, and grade control

· Ability to work in a fast-paced crew environment

· Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

· Ability to work long hours during peak paving season

Preferred:

· Experience on residential driveways and commercial paving projects

· Ability to read site conditions and adjust operation accordingly

· CDL is a plus (not required)
