Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Billing Team at Radar do Papel | E&M. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain billing-related features across the full stack, including front-end interfaces and back-end services. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and finance stakeholders to refine requirements, implementing secure and reliable integrations with payment providers, and improving existing billing workflows and subscription logic. The role also involves writing clean, testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting issues in production, and optimizing performance and scalability for billing systems. The engineer will contribute to technical documentation, participate in agile ceremonies, and help ensure data integrity and compliance in all billing operations.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Full-Stack Development and general Software Development, with the ability to work across multiple layers of the application.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, data modeling, and integration with third-party billing or payment services.
- Solid Front-End Development skills, including building responsive, accessible user interfaces and working closely with design requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern front-end tooling or frameworks.
- Experience working on billing, invoicing, subscriptions, or financial systems, with attention to accuracy and data consistency.
- Knowledge of relational databases and basic understanding of security best practices for handling sensitive financial data.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience in agile development environments is a plus.
