Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Director to join our team and be responsible for the overall procurement management of the company. This position will be responsible for procurement strategy development, supplier management, cost control, and procurement process optimization to ensure efficient and orderly procurement operations while supporting sustainable business growth.
Experience in medical device manufacturing, medical device, industrial manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily management and overall planning of the procurement department;
Develop, evaluate, and manage supplier resources to establish a stable supply system;
Responsible for negotiating procurement contracts and maintaining supplier relationships;
Control procurement costs and improve procurement efficiency;
Develop procurement plans based on business needs and supervise their implementation;
Closely monitor market changes and adjust procurement strategies accordingly;
Maintain close collaboration with production, operations, and quality departments;
Establish and improve procurement processes and management systems;
Manage, mentor, and develop the procurement team;
Complete other related tasks assigned by the company.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above;
10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management;
5+ years of team management experience;
Familiar with procurement processes, supplier management, and contract management;
Excellent communication, coordination, and business negotiation skills;
Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities;
Ability to independently drive projects and achieve goals;
Proficient in office software and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
International procurement or global supplier management experience;
Experience in procurement process optimization and cost control projects;
Familiar with ERP systems and procurement management tools;
Excellent business negotiation and contract management skills;
Experience in cross-departmental collaboration and project management;
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
