Project Executive

The Project Executive plays a critical leadership role in the successful delivery of complex construction projects. This individual provides executive oversight from preconstruction through project completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.

Serving as a trusted partner to owners, architects, and internal teams, the Project Executive helps guide strategy, resolve challenges, and keep projects moving forward. This role also mentors project managers and field leaders while helping build long-term client relationships that drive future work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for projects from early planning through completion.
• Oversee project performance related to schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Partner with project managers and field leadership to proactively identify risks and resolve issues.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with contract requirements and company standards.

Drive Preconstruction Strategy

• Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop budgets, schedules, and value engineering solutions.
• Participate in project planning and kickoff meetings to establish execution strategies.
• Support constructability reviews and early problem-solving during design.

Build Strong Client Relationships

• Serve as a key point of contact for owners and design partners throughout the life of the project.
• Foster strong relationships that build trust and lead to repeat business.
• Facilitate collaboration between owners, architects, consultants, and the project team.

Develop and Support Teams

• Mentor project managers, engineers, and field leadership.
• Promote alignment between preconstruction, operations, and field teams.
• Help build strong project teams that consistently deliver successful outcomes.

Support Business Growth

• Partner with business development and leadership to identify future opportunities.
• Participate in client presentations, pursuits, and strategic project discussions.
• Maintain relationships within the industry that help strengthen the company’s presence in the market.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 10+ years of construction industry experience
• Demonstrated leadership managing projects from preconstruction through completion
• Experience working with owners, design teams, and field operations
