About The Role

Humana is seeking a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Engineer specializing in AI Solutions to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leading the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable digital platforms and AI-enabled applications that support enterprise-wide objectives. As a senior technical leader, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into secure, production-ready systems. You will oversee technical architecture, mentor engineering talent, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence enterprise modernization initiatives, including cloud-native architectures, AI/ML operations, and automation strategies, all while maintaining alignment with enterprise standards and governance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior-level software engineering roles
• 2+ years of project or technical leadership experience
• Proficiency in building scalable web platforms, enterprise applications, and web services
• Strong full stack development skills in modern front-end and back-end technologies
• Technical expertise in programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, Angular, and React Native
• Experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and client-server interactions
• Hands-on experience designing secure, scalable cloud-native systems, preferably on Azure or equivalent platforms
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
• Experience with AI/ML pipelines, tools, and frameworks, including deployment and monitoring
• Understanding of Agentic AI concepts and enterprise AI governance standards
• Strong problem-solving skills, data structures, and algorithms expertise
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working with governance bodies and enterprise review teams
• Familiarity with infrastructure and security as code practices

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture, solution design, and engineering vision for enterprise platforms and AI-enabled applications
• Serve as a senior technical leader throughout all stages of software development, ensuring best practices and quality standards
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions through collaboration with stakeholders
• Identify automation opportunities by conducting discovery and workflow analysis, defining success metrics
• Design and prototype cloud-native, AI-enabled solutions including system architecture, integrations, deployment patterns, and operational models
• Build and deploy production-grade applications, RESTful APIs, and AI/ML pipelines using enterprise-approved technologies
• Lead by example through hands-on engineering across platform, backend, frontend, and mobile technologies
• Mentor and coach a team of high-performing engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Review code, architecture decisions, and pull requests, providing constructive feedback
• Partner with business and technical leaders to define strategic technical directions and support enterprise decision-making
• Collaborate with architecture, review, and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards
• Support the implementation of Cloud 3.0 and modernization strategies, including onboarding, deployment, troubleshooting, and security alignment
• Investigate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Document workflows, operational procedures, and implementation details for operational handoff and support
• Contribute insights and lessons learned from delivery experiences to improve reusable enterprise capabilities
