Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

• Construct, repair, and maintain decks/deck coatings according to project specifications.
• Apply specialized knowledge of various WESTCOAT products and deck coatings to enhance durability and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Safely operate and maintain specialty tools and equipment.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately for a precise fit.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on decks and deck coatings experience and using WESTCOAT products.
• In-depth knowledge of different wood types, materials, and coatings used in deck construction.
• Proficient in using carpentry/deck coating tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious mindset.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with deck coatings.
• Demonstrated expertise in deck coatings.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of different types of coatings, sealants, and application techniques.
• Proficiency in using various tools, such as sanders, scrapers, brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work safely in various weather conditions.
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
