Full Job Description
Job Brief: Uses computerized system to perform step-by-step procedures to reconcile hotel and bottle shop transactions at the end of the day. Also responsible for effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to management and performing guest service agent duties, including reservations, check ins and check outs. Prepare and deliver morning guest breakfast requests. Sell and stock items in bottle shop.
Job Duties:
- Uses a computerized system to perform hotel night audit process. Identify and correct any mistakes made by guest service agents throughout the day
- Listening to and understanding guest requests, responding with prompt and appropriate action, and providing accurate information
- Verifying and processing credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods, as well as handling cash, making change and balancing an assigned house bank
- Closing guest accounts at time of check out, and ascertaining guest satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver guest breakfast requests
- Receive and verify shipments
- Inspect and document freight damages
- Arrange shelf and floor displays
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 yrs old
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Requires excellent customer service skills
- Must be proficient in basic math and basic computer skills
