Position Summary
A leader in the power equipment industry is looking for a dynamic, high-energy, self-motivated sales professional for the position of Territory Manager. This person will be responsible for maintaining and cultivating relationships with current and prospective customers as well as establishing and maintaining a customer service network for several outdoor power equipment brands. In this role, you will be the face of the company to our customers. This is a great opportunity for a sales minded individual and has a salary range of $70,000 – $75,000 plus growth bonuses.

Essential Functions
Develop a plan/strategy to grow the business in your territory.
Build efficient weekly travel routes
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Convey information between customer and sales managers in a timely manner.
Project a positive, professional image as our representative of our company.
Represent our company at trade shows and understand this may require weekends.
Work as long as it takes to get the job done, this is not an 8 โ 5 situation.
Develop goals and exceed revenue targets.
Weekly call reports completed on time as directed. Attention to detail in those reports are required.
Be of trustworthy nature and high moral standard.
Enjoy hunting for new business in territories not established currently.
Qualifications
Outdoor power equipment, industrial or related industry sales is a plus.
Distribution experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to overnight travel extensively within assigned territory and other locations. This is a requirement of the job and is not negotiable.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to follow through.
Candidate must be a self-starter, self-directed personality. Computer savvy ( Excel, Word , Outlook)
