Principal Embedded Software Engineer | Medical Devices | RTOS | C/C++ | ARM | IEC 62304

We are hiring a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to develop and enhance embedded systems for next-generation medical devices. This role focuses on firmware development, ARM platform migration, RTOS applications, and hardware/software integration within a regulated (FDA/ISO) environment.

• Location: Lake Forest, CA (Onsite – 5 days/week)
• Contract (6–9 months) Full-Time Conversion

Must Have:

• Embedded software development in medical devices / regulated environment
• C/C++, ARM, RTOS (ThreadX, CMX, etc.)
• Board bring-up, bootloaders, device drivers
• Protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet
• Hardware debugging (oscilloscope, logic analyzer emulators
• Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Nice To Have

CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, Python, CANoe, Lauterbach, motor control/signal processing
