Desktop Support Technician Full Time NEW

Job Summary

We are seeking a 1-4 year experienced Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. You’ll be supporting our client that has multiple stores and your role will be to perform remote support for the stores as well as travel to stores when needed to be in person for tech support.

The ideal candidate will show up consistently on time, provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of hardware and software issues. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Desktop Support

Schedule:

Mon – Fri: 9AM – 5PM with OT as requested

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for desktop hardware, software, and network issues for 30 users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software problems, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems (Windows, macOS)
• Remotely support retail stores for their POS systems.
• Perform analysis on system performance and recommend improvements.
• Respond to help desk tickets.
• Support mobile devices and ensure compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with office manager and IT remote head for task list and coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles.
• Working experience with IT ticketing (Atera is a plus), OpenConnect VPN, Teamviewer remote connection, Slack, and Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Knowledge of AD and Microsoft Entra
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems quickly, professionally, and efficiently.
