What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Research, process, and resolve customer and healthcare provider inquiries regarding benefits and insurance eligibility
• Relay detailed information to customers, managers, and clients
• Initiate status reports or service recovery communications as needed
• Educate customers and team members on relevant policies, procedures, and specific benefits
• Document interactions in the tracking system to maintain organized records

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
• Basic math skills and the ability to analyze detailed information
• Typing speed of 30+ words per minute

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in medical claims reimbursements or medical billing
• Familiarity with health insurance industry terminology
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and applicable benefits
• Understanding of customer service techniques
