IT Support Officer (Entry / Junior Level) Full Time NEW

This is a part-time and remote role for an IT Support Officer (Entry/Junior Level). The IT Support Officer will address technical issues, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network problems. Their responsibilities also include providing support for desktop computers and printers, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of IT systems, and offering technical guidance to users when necessary. The role requires proactive communication with team members to identify and resolve IT-related needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently
• Basic knowledge of Information Technology principles, practices, and systems
• Skills in supporting Desktop Computers and performing maintenance tasks, including software updates and configurations, to ensure system reliability
• Experience in Printer Support, including installation, connectivity setup, and troubleshooting common printer issues
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset
• Basic understanding of network systems is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields is preferred
