• Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour (Based on experience)
• Schedule: 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts (Monday – Friday)
• Flexibility: Optional 4-day, 10-hour workweek available after probationary period.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive and Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical knowledge and deep expertise in automotive electrical and diesel engine systems. In this role, you will independently diagnose, repair, and maintain various light-duty vehicles and diesel trucks to ensure optimal performance and complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex issues related to powertrains, electrical systems, diesel engines, and mechanical components.
• Conduct thorough vehicle and fleet inspections to pinpoint potential problems or safety hazards.
• Use specialized diagnostic equipment and power tools to safely repair and replace vehicle components.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient shop workflow and hit repair deadlines.
• Keep precise, accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
• Perform accurate repair estimates, order necessary parts, and write clear customer invoices.
• Conduct phone calls professionally and answer customer questions regarding vehicle status, repairs, and pricing.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Diesel Mechanic.
• Skills: Ability to independently perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on both gas and diesel platforms.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, and diesel engine mechanics and Perfomance Issues.
• Tools: Proficiency with standard industry power tools and modern diagnostic scanners.
• Tech Skills: Proficiency with computers, online parts ordering websites, and Mitchell 1 Repair/Estimating software.
• Traits: Strong problem-solving abilities, maturity, and a sharp attention to detail.
