What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing beneficiaries of the NJ Family Care Program
- Provide one-on-one telephone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees
- Accurately document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances
- Enter application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system
- Maintain proficiency in NJ Family Care rules, guidelines, and related program policies
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse individuals
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on analysis and feedback
- High School Diploma or GED
- Background and drug screening required

- Experience in a customer service role within a call center environment
- Knowledge of health care programs or services
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base
