Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time teachers to join our team. While Montessori training is highly regarded, we are open to candidates who are willing to learn and embrace our educational approach. Key Responsibilities:
– Facilitate a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
– Implement the Montessori philosophy or be open to learning it.
– Engage students in project-based and hands-on experiential learning.
– Foster a love for exploration and discovery in each student.
– Encourage independence and self-directed learning.
– Create and adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students.
– Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
– Attend professional development opportunities to continually improve your teaching skills.
Qualifications:
– A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (Montessori certification is a plus but not required).
– A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A growth mindset and a willingness to adapt to new teaching methods.
– A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
-A valid Florida teaching certificate, ESOL and reading endorsement (if teaching assignment requires)
