Runpod Anywhere enables customers who already own and operate GPUs and storage clusters to bring their infrastructure onto the Runpod platform. Customers can orchestrate workloads across their own hardware using Runpod’s SDKs, APIs, CLI, and console, while seamlessly bursting excess demand into Runpod’s cloud when capacity constraints arise. This allows teams to avoid planning for peak compute demand while retaining full control over their existing investments.

The Senior Product Manager for Runpod Anywhere will lead our comprehensive entry into this new market. This role is responsible for building a new business line largely from scratch: defining the ideal customer profile, understanding the competitive landscape, articulating differentiated value, and delivering a four-quarter roadmap that elevates customer-owned infrastructure to a first-class citizen within the Runpod platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to create an entirely new market offering built on top of Runpod’s core competitive strengths, refined and proven over the past three years.

Responsibilities:

• Be the voice of our customer: Engage deeply with prospects, customers, and partners who own and operate GPU infrastructure to understand their technical, operational, and business needs. You’ll be expected to conduct frequent customer conversations and translate insights directly into strategy and execution.
• New market definition and strategy: Define the target customer segments and ideal customer profile (ICP) for Runpod Anywhere. Establish clear market positioning, differentiated value propositions, and a point of view on where Runpod wins versus alternatives.
• Product strategy and roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap that brings Runpod Anywhere to market as a first-class offering. Leverage existing platform capabilities while identifying and prioritizing net-new investments required for customer-owned infrastructure.
• User Experience Design: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure product design effectively addresses developer needs, improving ease of use and functionality.
• Competitive analysis: Analyze competitors across on-prem orchestration, hybrid cloud, GPU management platforms, and adjacent solutions. Incorporate insights into product direction, messaging, and execution, and communicate findings clearly across the company.
• Agile planning and execution: Maintain a well-curated backlog and lead agile planning and execution in partnership with engineering. Drive delivery of complex, distributed systems with a high bar for reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Go-to-market enablement: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape launch plans, messaging, pricing considerations, and enablement materials. Ensure teams are equipped to sell, onboard, and support Runpod Anywhere customers successfully.
• Cross-functional leadership: Work across engineering, infrastructure, partnerships, legal, and business teams to align product development with company goals and operational realities.
• KPI definition and management: Define and track success metrics for Runpod Anywhere, spanning adoption, engagement, revenue impact, and customer outcomes.
• Executive storytelling: Clearly communicate product strategy, progress, and tradeoffs to company leadership. Engage directly with strategic customers and partners to build confidence in Runpod’s long-term vision.
• Understand AI market trends: Be an expert in all things AI, understanding the latest developments, frameworks and models that are driving the industry forward. Communicate your expertise internally and demonstrate thought leadership externally at conferences and community events.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with meaningful ownership over complex, technical products.
• Experience working with developer platforms, infrastructure products, or DX-focused tools.
• Demonstrated experience launching new products or entering new markets strongly preferred.
• Prior experience as a professional software engineer building distributed systems strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of modern software development workflows and agile execution.
• Experience with AI and ML platforms strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to define strategy in ambiguous environments and translate it into execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in an early-stage, fast-moving, remote-first environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Successful completion of a background check

What You’ll Receive:

• The competitive base pay for this position ranges from ($175,000 – $225,000 usd. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Runpod and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location
