Role Description

This is a part-time role with potential for expanding into a full-time role. Depending on your availability and fit, you can start immediately for a summer internship or join in the fall for an off-cycle internship.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Knowledge of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• History of working with: Supabase, Firebase, or any BaaS with row-level security concepts
• Has worked with or is getting to know: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, and browser automation programs
• Understands what a cron job is and why systemd exists. Comfort on a Linux command line.

Bonus

• Worked retail, foodservice, vending, or logistics. You’ll understand why pack size is hard.
• Built a data pipeline that survived an authenticated login flow. Tell us what broke first.
• Contributed to open source, even a docs PR.
• Has opinions about data modeling. Wrong opinions are fine; no opinions is a flag.
• Reads Hacker News, /r/programming, or follows a few engineers on X. Engaged with the field and always improving their AI stack
