Job Description:
The U.S. Consumer Cards (USCC) Operations Business Execution team drives a broad portfolio of business management activities and strategic initiatives ranging from resource and expense management, operating model efficiency, and communications.
The Headcount Management Lead for USCC Operations will serve as a strategic partner across USCC Operations senior leadership, Finance, and HR to drive workforce planning, headcount governance, and organization execution. This role is responsible leading the end-to-end management of operational headcount ensuring alignment to financial obligations, business priorities, and workforce strategies.
This individual will lead a team responsible for headcount forecasting, requisition management, reporting, analytics, and executive-level planning and support. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong operational disciplines executive presence, and the ability to influence across functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead organization-level headcount management process across USCC Operations, including forecasting, planning, approvals, tracking, and reporting
Serve as trusted advisor to Operations leadership on workforce strategy, organizational planning, and resource optimization including reporting and presentations related to staffing and workforce investments
Develop and maintain headcount governance processes, controls, and reporting to ensure accuracy
Partner closely with Workforce Management and Finance to align Planning, forecasts, and operational targets
Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to manage organizational changes, workforce strategies, and hiring pipeline
Manage multiple priorities and drive execution across multiple functions in the organization
Qualifications
10+ years experience in workforce planning, business execution, finance, or related strategic functions
Prior people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into business decisions
Experience partnering cross functionally with senior leadership, Finance, and HR
Strong analytical skills with experience managing large datasets, forecasting, and reporting
Strong communication skills
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
