Vice President of Client Momentum
Position Summary
The Vice President of Client Momentum is responsible for driving sustained client growth, engagement, retention, and strategic relationship expansion across the organization’s customer portfolio. This executive leadership role focuses on accelerating client success outcomes, increasing account value, strengthening long-term partnerships, and ensuring continuous business momentum throughout the customer lifecycle.
The position combines elements of customer success, revenue growth, strategic account management, client experience, and business expansion leadership to maximize both client satisfaction and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead enterprise client momentum strategies focused on retention, expansion, and long-term customer growth
Oversee initiatives that improve customer engagement, adoption, loyalty, and account performance
Partner with sales, customer success, marketing, operations, and product teams to align client growth objectives
Drive upsell, cross-sell, renewal, and strategic account expansion opportunities across key customer segments
Establish KPIs related to customer retention, net revenue retention (NRR), customer lifetime value (CLV), and engagement performance
Monitor customer health metrics, satisfaction trends, and relationship risk indicators
Lead executive-level client relationship management and strategic partnership development
Support customer journey optimization and high-touch client engagement programs
Oversee escalation management and ensure resolution of high-priority customer concerns
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive positioning to improve client growth strategies
Build and lead high-performing customer growth, client success, and relationship management organizations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of experience in customer success, account management, client strategy, business development, or commercial leadership
Strong expertise in enterprise client engagement, retention strategy, and revenue growth initiatives
Experience managing high-value client portfolios and cross-functional customer operations
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and executive relationship management skills
Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management, CRM systems, and client analytics platforms
