The Senior Marketing Manager for Field Sales Marketing is responsible for creating, developing and implementing campaigns to support Heinemann (HNM) revenue objectives on a regional and state level. Under the guidance of the VP of Marketing, the position partners closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Product Management. This role ensures our solutions are positioned effectively to address regional priorities, customer needs, and market trends. The Senior Marketing Manager follows best practices in creating campaigns with the most effective tactics and channels to achieve results.
Primary Responsibilities:
Engage in strategy-based marketing campaign planning that drives toward revenue goals for regional state & local area needs.
Develop and execute campaigns across multiple channels, including digital and print collateral, social media, web presence and activities, email, prospect events, and presentations, etc.
Prioritize Develop content (including blog posts and “gated” content) for strategic campaigns to increase revenue and supplement national marketing activities.
Support regional, state, and local sales events as needed with assets like registration pages, invites, and digital rooms.
Provide targeted marketing support for off-cycle or emergent product launches, collaborating with Product Marketing, Product Management and Strategy (PM&S), and Sales to deliver essential messaging, enablement assets, and go-to-market tactics as needed.
Review education trends and initiatives to enhance campaigns and tailor messaging that is on point, pedagogically sound and strategically meaningful to the customer
Engage other marketing team members during the campaign planning process to ensure applicable digital and social tactics are incorporated
Maintain knowledge of national nurture paths and effectively intersect with tactics for campaign leads.
Provide updates for campaign and state web pages or digital rooms to ensure relevant, timely HNM content is presented.
Utilize knowledge and expertise when providing input and counsel on improvements relevant to increasing efficiency and streamlining processes for Field Sales Marketing.
Maintain relationships and overall awareness of responsibilities with internal department partners.
Demonstrate proficiency in the internal tools and applications utilized by the marketing teams.
Ensure consistency and integrity of HMH company brand and brand guidelines, including style and usage.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in marketing or education
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in education
Experience with traditional and digital marketing channels, including social media strategies and analytics
Knowledge of and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, Acrobat DC Pro, Salesforce, SharePoint
Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills
Salary Range:
$85,000 – $98,000
