• Mold Polisher

With the proper skill and work ethic this is a very well paid position with overtime available.

Salary Range: $ 20.00 – $ 40.00 based upon experience and qualifications.

This is a Full-Time First shift Mold Polisher position and is for a person who likes challenging work and is able to problem solve in a fast paced tool and die shop.

Responsibilities:

Polishes to any finish required by the use of electronic polishers/and or by hand.

• Use abrasives, air powered tools, stones and other equipment to safely and efficiently polish metal materials to meet required results.
• Forms and sharpens stones on grinding machines.
• Keeps stones sorted as to grit and composition.
• Cleans all components after polishing.
• Uses appropriate polishing lubricants.
• Other duties and machine shop tasks as assigned.

Qualifications – Education and Experience:

• Prior Experience Desired. Willing to train the right team member.

Qualifications – Skills and Competencies:

• Attention to Detail and Quality.
• Understanding of different types of surface finishes
• Knowledge of various stone composition & grits
• Ability to Read, Write & Follow Instructions.
• Extensive degree of visual attention and hand control required.
• Visual aid is regularly using eye magnification or microscopes.’
