Concrete Crew Lead Full Time

Industrial Energy Solutions, Inc. is hiring an experienced Concrete Crew Lead for industrial projects nationwide. This position requires extensive travel for project assignments. Crew Leads are assigned to out-of-town projects for the duration of each assignment. This is not a rotational schedule and is not suitable for candidates seeking frequent home time.

This is a working lead position. Crew Leads are expected to perform all concrete labor duties while leading and directing crews in the field.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years of hands-on concrete construction experience, including leadership or crew lead responsibilities
• Proven, hands-on concrete experience
• Drilling and doweling
• Rebar installation and tying
• Ability to follow plans, specifications, and superintendent direction
• Experience working on active industrial or commercial jobsites

Leadership Requirements

• Residency Requirement: Candidates must live within 30 miles of Midlothian, Texas. This is a mandatory requirement and will be verified.
• Experience leading or supervising concrete crews
• Ability to plan daily work and assign tasks to maintain production
• Strong communication skills with field crews, superintendents, and project management
• Ability to enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies
• Experience tracking labor, materials, and job progress

Job Details

• 90%+ travel
• Per diem provided for all travel assignments
• Full-time, steady work for qualified candidates
• Responsible for crew productivity, quality, and coordination

Additional Requirements

• Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work
• Valid driver’s license required
• No CDL required; however, all employees must be able and willing to drive company vehicles as needed
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card if required to operate company vehicles
• Ability to meet jobsite safety and access requirements

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

This position involves hands-on concrete and construction work while leading crews. Employees must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, and work at ground level throughout the day. The job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 pounds. Adequate hand dexterity, vision, hearing, and communication are required to safely perform job duties.

Work is performed on active industrial construction sites, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Travel is an essential function of this position.

Preferred (Not Required)

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Industrial concrete leadership experience
• Ability to mentor and develop crew members
