Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of pre-engineered metal structures, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and are completed on schedule. Your expertise in metal building erection, blueprint reading, and construction site management will be essential to delivering durable, high-quality buildings for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge to bring innovative structures to life.

Duties

• Erect and assemble pre-engineered metal building components according to schematics, blueprints, and safety standards
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to lift, position, and secure structural elements
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely progress on-site
• Perform metal stud framing, roofing installation, siding, and trim carpentry as needed for building completion
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the erection process to ensure structural integrity
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, and restoration tasks when required
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction fields such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and effectively
• Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, and roofing techniques
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and project completion
• Valid construction or trade certifications preferred but not required; willingness to learn new skills is highly valued
