Construction Site Cleaner Full Time NEW

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Post-Construction Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning newly built or renovated commercial and industrial sites, ensuring they are safe, dust-free, and ready for occupancy. You will play a key role in final-phase cleanup, removing construction debris, fine dust, and residue while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive post-construction cleaning, including removal of dust, debris, paint splatter, adhesives, and construction residue
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces including walls, ceilings, floors, windows, fixtures, and vents
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as HEPA vacuums, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and polishers
• Execute detailed floor care including sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing as required
• Clean and prepare restrooms, break areas, and common spaces to meet sanitation and safety standards
• Remove and properly dispose of construction waste, debris, and hazardous materials in compliance with site regulations
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols while working on active or recently completed construction sites
• Work efficiently within project timelines to ensure job sites are ready for inspection or occupancy
• Communicate with supervisors and site managers regarding progress, issues, or additional cleaning needs
• some work may include exterior cleaning duties such as window cleaning and power washing depending on project needs and site conditions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in post-construction cleaning, commercial janitorial work, or industrial cleaning preferred
• Familiarity with construction site environments and safety procedures strongly preferred
• Experience using industrial cleaning tools and equipment (floor machines, pressure washers, HEPA vacuums)
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, MSDS guidelines, and proper PPE usage
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Candidates must be comfortable working at heights in active construction environments, including high-rise buildings and on scaffolding systems it may vary on project not all.
• If candiate doesn’t have osha must be ready or in porgress receiving certification in order to work on projects.
• Must be a reliable team player with the ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
