Required Skills & Experience
2–5 years of workers’ compensation claims adjusting or related insurance experience
Strong working knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and regulations
Experience managing medical and indemnity claims, including litigated files
Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation skills
Ability to analyze claim facts, set reserves, and manage exposure independently
High school diploma or equivalent (combination of education/experience considered)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
Active or prior state adjuster certification/license (or ability to obtain)
Insurance designations such as WCCP, AIC, ARM, or CPCU
Experience working in a fully remote/WFH claims environment

This individual will manage a full-cycle caseload of California workers’ compensation claims, including medical-only, indemnity, and litigated files.
