ML Developer Experience Engineer Full Time

This is a high-impact engineering role focused on shaping how machine learning and reinforcement learning systems are built, evaluated, and deployed at scale. You will design developer-centric tools, SDKs, and workflows that abstract away the complexity of RL, making advanced ML capabilities accessible to engineering teams and enterprise customers. The role sits at the intersection of machine learning infrastructure, product engineering, and developer experience, with direct influence on how customers adopt and scale production-grade AI systems. You will work closely with product, engineering, and technical success teams to identify friction points and translate them into scalable, reusable platform capabilities. Your work will directly enable faster adoption of RL workflows across organizations while improving reliability, usability, and performance. This is a hands-on, systems-level role for someone passionate about developer experience and modern ML infrastructure.

Accountabilities

• Design and build developer-focused SDKs, APIs, libraries, and tooling that simplify reinforcement learning workflows for ML engineers and developers.
• Create intuitive abstractions that balance ease of use with flexibility for advanced configuration and experimentation.
• Translate customer feedback and usage patterns into improved tooling, documentation, onboarding flows, and reusable platform components.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to identify workflow bottlenecks and design scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, tutorials, and example implementations to support developer adoption and success.
• Improve system reliability through robust testing, edge-case handling, and production-grade software engineering practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of internal frameworks and platform capabilities based on real-world customer needs and usage data.

Requirements

• Strong experience building developer-facing tools such as SDKs, APIs, libraries, or frameworks used in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, with additional experience in ML ecosystem languages considered a plus.
• Solid understanding of machine learning workflows including training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience improving developer productivity through tooling, documentation, and product-driven engineering.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, usable, and well-documented developer experiences.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with ML infrastructure, distributed systems, or frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX is a plus.
• Contributions to open-source projects or internal developer platforms is highly valued.
• Strong product mindset with an emphasis on usability, scalability, and developer empathy.
