We’re looking for a seasoned Partnership & Sales Manager who believes in what we’re building and can independently drive the commercial relationships that fuel it. Reporting directly to the Founder, this person will own revenue development across three areas: wholesale apparel, event sponsorships, and Con Ganas content and consulting services. The primary focus is apparel, but this role is built for someone who can see the full picture of what Con Ganas offers and sell accordingly. This is not a support role. This person owns revenue.
Overview of Responsibilities
• Report directly to the Founder to align on revenue strategy, priorities, and partnership direction across all verticals.
• Own the full sales cycle for wholesale apparel accounts, prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing with boutiques, athletic retailers, and culturally aligned retail partners. Apparel revenue is the primary mandate.
• Develop and execute a sponsorship and partnership sales strategy across all Con Ganas events, including athlete experiences, golf outings, community activations, and the Con Ganas Music Festival in November.
• Support the Con Ganas Music Festival sponsorship effort by driving outreach to prospective brand partners and closing assigned deals in coordination with the broader events team.
• Prospect and close new clients for Con Ganas content and consulting services, including content production, cultural storytelling, athlete programming, and strategic brand development.
• Identify opportunities to upsell existing apparel and event partners into Con Ganas content and consulting offerings where the relationship and fit support it.
• Build and manage a partner pipeline across wholesale, sponsorship, and content and consulting verticals simultaneously.
• Craft compelling, brand-consistent pitch decks, sponsorship proposals, and service agreements without heavy internal support.
• Manage all partner communications, invoice requests, and payment tracking for accounts in their portfolio.
• Establish the sales infrastructure: templates, tracking, outreach cadences, and reporting systems, since many of these do not yet exist.
• Report regularly on pipeline health, closed revenue, and progress toward quarterly targets.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in wholesale sales, brand partnerships, sponsorship sales, or media and content sales, preferably in apparel, sports, lifestyle, or cultural brands.
• Proven track record of independently closing deals across multiple revenue streams and consistently hitting targets.
• Experience selling services, not just products. Familiarity with content production, brand consulting, or agency-style service sales is a strong plus.
• Experience building or significantly contributing to a sales function at an emerging or growth-stage brand. This person knows what it means to build, not just manage.
• Strong existing network in retail buying, brand marketing, media, or sports and event sponsorship is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, comfortable presenting to buyers, CMOs, and brand decision-makers without hand-holding.
• Able to develop their own proposals, decks, and service agreements with minimal administrative support.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM or pipeline management tools.
• Deep cultural fluency within Latino communities. Understanding of why Con Ganas exists and who it’s for is essential, not optional.
• Thrives in lean, fast-moving startup environments; can manage ambiguity and create structure where none exists.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable to outcomes.
Compensation
• Draw against commission, amount commensurate with experience.
• Commission: 5% on wholesale apparel revenue closed.
• Commission: 8 to 10% on event sponsorships secured.
• Commission: 8 to 10% on content and consulting engagements closed.
