National PM / Service Technician – Commercial Tankless Water Heating ( Daily Per Diem )
Facilities Resource Group in Comstock Park, Michigan is a leading provider in single-source, turnkey plumbing solutions and Commercial Tankless Water Heating Systems! We’re looking for a Field Service / PM Technician who can travel to perform planned maintenance at customer sites throughout the US.
JOB DETAILS:
- LOCATION: Comstock Park, MI ( Home Base )
- TYPE: Full Time – Permanent + Benefits
- HOURS: 40 – 60+ / Week – HEAVY OT (Mostly driving)
- PAY STARTS: $22 – ?? / Hour ( BOE ) + $50/DAY PER DIEM
- WE PROVIDE: + Vehicle + Fuel + Hotel + Mobile Phone + Uniforms + Tool Options
- REPORTS TO: Director of National Service/Support
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: National Field Service / Planned Maintenance (” PM” ) Techs drive a company van on a rotating regional route within the US, traveling continuously for up to 3 weeks/month. This is a high hours job, most of which is ” windshield time”. Upon arrival at customer sites, PM Technicians represent the company with pride and professionalism, performing planned maintenance on commercial tankless water heating equipment and other plumbing equipment ( i.e., tank water heaters, water softeners, water filtration systems). Standard PM’s involve flushing units, cleaning sensors, refilling neutralizer, etc. Occasionally, they also include light repair or parts replacement. In-person, on-the-job training is provided.

REQUIRED:
- MUST be at least 21 years old & legally authorized to work in the US;
- MUST have Driver’s License & insurable MVR to drive our vans;
- MUST be located within 60 miles of our home base in Comstock Park;
- MUST High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent;
- MUST be willing and able to travel continuously for 3 weeks at a time;
- MUST possess 1-2 yr related experience, know tools and have mechanical aptitude;
- SUBJECT to completion of background / drug screen
