About the Position:
Nutrition Coordinator provides professional program coordination, analytical support, and project management for the Nutrition Services Department. This position ensures that nutrition programs, menu systems, quality improvement initiatives, and software-supported operations function efficiently, meet regulatory requirements, and align with department and hospital goals. This position supports budgeting, procurement, data analysis, compliance, and the administration of programming while coordinating daily operational activities and cross-functional initiatives essential to program success. Additionally, the role serves as a technical resource, project lead, and liaison for staff, vendors, and internal partners, ensuring seamless nutrition service delivery for patients and clients.

Relevant education may include a degree in: Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Public Administration, or other closely-related field

CDHS Selection Process Explanation
Employment history is calculated on a full-time basis (40/hrs per week). Part-time employment is calculated on a prorated basis to determine qualifications. Minimum Qualification Screening Process
A Human Resources Analyst will review the work experience/job duties sections of the online job application to determine whether your experience meets the minimum qualifications for the position. Comparative Analysis Process – Structured Application Review
After minimum qualification screening, the comparative analysis process will involve reviewing and rating of all the information you submit. The comparative analysis step may also include your results from standardized testing.
