HQ Children Services is seeking dependable, motivated, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support youth with behavioral and developmental challenges in a structured residential setting.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct care, supervision, and behavioral support
• Assist residents with daily living skills, routines, and activities
• Implement behavior support strategies and IPP goals
• Help residents build communication, coping, and independent living skills
• Administer medications and maintain documentation
• Complete daily progress notes and behavior tracking
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• Participate in trainings and team meetings

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass DOJ/FBI/CACI fingerprint clearance
• Pre-employment physical with TB clearance
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and remain active throughout shifts
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Must meet Title 17 & Title 22 requirements
• Must currently live in the area

For Driving Positions

• Valid California Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years driving experience (Age 23+ preferred)
• Valid insurance and registration

Preferred Certifications

• CPR / First Aid
• CPI or behavioral experience preferred
• DSP 1 & DSP 2 certifications (or willingness to complete)

Schedule

• Day Shifts
• PM/Evening Shifts
• Overnight/NOC Shifts
• Weekends & Holidays as needed
